How to Install Synthetic PVC Roof Sheet

Fangxing PVC corrugated roof sheet is easy to cut and install. The following is a must-read guide for roofer and DIY.

Before Installation

To correct alignment is very important no matter on what kind of roof structure the sheet is going to install. In this way, Fangxing PVC roof sheet can be assembled closely and straightly. The vertical line should be 50mm-70mm to the interior of sidewall for gabled roof, and horizontal line be 150mm to the bottom purlin.

Instructions

1. Place the first sheet as close as possible to the vertical construction line, fix the first sheet of the second vertical row, according to the supporting framework. The first row must be perforated under no circumstances. Fixings should be assembled at the wave crest of the sheet.

• Take care when aligning the first row, because some problems such as leakage will come if it's unaligned with a few millimeters.

2. Then continue to fix the next. Overlap the second sheet laterally onto the first and fix with self-screws on the first sheet which corresponds to the overlap.

• To keep the correct alignment of fixings, we recommend use of construction line for reference fixed to the extreme of the rafter.

3. Following the same way, laying down the third and forth sheets. Check the condition of the four sheets again, then fix with screws. Till the last one, the width of the final sheet can be cut according to needs.

4. For the second row installation, we recommend you begin from the left with a sheet cut in half length(three rolls of a sheet). That allows you to continue with a horizontal overlap of staggered rows so as to avoid a crossover of four sheets on the overlap.

• The remaining sheets cut at the beginning are not wasted, because they can be used at the end of the roofing as adjustments.
• Complete the opposite side in the same way.
• Line up the vertical rows of tiles on the opposite side with those of the first, in order to assemble the ridge tile.

Attention! For lower roof pitch or in windy and rainy zones it is appropriate to seal the overlap with resin or silicon sealant.

Tips for installing plastic greenhouses - When you are constructing plastic greenhouses, build the frame first. Then attach the panel to the frame. Walls can also be constructed of the FRP sheet so as to allow the most amount of light into your green house as possible. Try and construct them in areas that are less susceptible to gusts of wind. Also be sure to provide proper ventilation at the top of the green houses to keep them from getting too hot in summer.
